After ten years of delivering national International Women’s Day events, One of One has announced it will present two events in March 2026, taking place in Sydney and Melbourne.

Since launching in 2017, One of One has built a much-loved national program celebrating and supporting women and gender non-conforming (GNC) people working across the music industry. These events would not have been possible without the extraordinary support of sponsors, partners, venues, artists and community members over the past decade.

“The reality of 2026 for many businesses in the music industry is that budgets are tight,” said One of One. “and not everyone has the capacity to support charities right now. We completely understand, and we are incredibly grateful to every organisation that has supported One of One over the last ten years.”

One of One is proud to continue its work with a strong group of returning and new partners who remain deeply committed to supporting women and GNC people in music.

“To Adelaide, Brisbane, Perth and Darwin — you are so important to us. We can’t wait to return to your states and territories when we can.

For now, One of One is excited to deliver two powerful events in Sydney and Melbourne, with tickets on sale soon.

The core purpose of these events remains unchanged: to uplift, encourage and inspire women and GNC people working in the music industry. Over breakfasts attendees will enjoy keynote speakers, live performances, networking opportunities and special guests (to be announced), creating a space for connection, reflection and celebration. Previous One of One events have featured moving performances and keynotes from the likes of Jen Cloher, Stella Donnelly, Becca Hatch, Eliza Hull, Deborah Cheetham AO and Emma Donovan.

One of One is also pleased to confirm the continuation of its industry awards and development opportunities in 2026. In collaboration with valued partners UNIFIED Music Group, White Sky and Mushroom Music the following Awards/Scholarships will be awarded at the upcoming One of One events.

“These awards are about real outcomes, not just recognition,” says the ONE OF ONE team. “Each opportunity has been carefully designed with our partners to create sustainable impact for women and GNC people working in music, now and into the future.”
